  • Calhoun A Finalist For National Player of the Year

    TCU freshman Jordan Calhoun was named a finalist for the Soccer News Net Player of the Year Award Thursday night. By being named a finalist, Calhoun is recognized as one of the top-32 players in the nation.

  • Coach Stone Update

    Texas Tech head coach Tom Stone and the Team USA Under-20 National Team will face France Wednesday at noon (central time) in the first round of the FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Chile. The match will be broadcast live nationally by ESPN2.

  • Soccer's Scott, Rodriguez Earn C-USA All-Academic Honors

    University of Houston senior goalkeeper Shelby Scott was named to the Conference USA All-Academic First Team, while sophomore midfielder Islara Rodriguez earned second-team honors, the league office announced on Wednesday.

  • UTEP Edged By Colorado College In C-USA Quarters, 1-0

    The UTEP soccer team fought hard but came up just short against Colorado College in the quarterfinals of the 2008 Conference USA tournament, falling 1-0 on the campus of Rice University Wednesday afternoon. In a defensive battle with the Miners fighting to the very end, it was a tally from the Tigers' Ericka Baer in the 81st minute which proved to be the difference.

  • TCU family loses 'true Horned Frog

    Longtime TCU photographer Linda Kaye died Sunday night after a bout with cancer. "Linda Kaye is a TCU legend and we are deeply saddened by her death," TCUathletics director Danny Morrison said.
